Winary

The Magdalenenhof winery is managed according to ecological guidelines. The Blümel family is a member of the Federal Association ecovin, the association of organically operated wineries.

They do not use synthetic products. Instead, they tolerate companion plants and sow wildflowers and herbs in the vineyards to provide a habitat for insects and beetles that help combat pests.

The missing nutrients are supplemented with compost and residues from wine production, closing the natural cycle. Wines with a unique character are the result of this method of operation – for the benefit of nature and humanity.

The tractors run on biodiesel or vegetable oil, and all buildings are heated with renewable raw materials. All of this is done to keep energy consumption as low as possible and to achieve the greatest possible CO2 savings.
